Chapter 27: The Three Woes - NYC, Jerusalem, SFCThree great woes shall soon occur, earthquakes of the magnitude never seen before on this earth. The first woe will be NYC, the second Jerusalem, and the third SFC. But they are just an omen of the wrath to come.
The victorious odes of ancient past, are but a remnant of the woes to come. For as the Moabites were crushed by God's hands (Numbers21:29-31), so will the blood of man f low in His winepress. For empires have fallen by His mighty hand, yet man has forgotten that He is the God, 'who smote the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the wilderness.' (1 Samuel 4:7-8) But He is not a merciless God,for He gives fruit to the righteous, and He punishes those who have perpetrated evil. Thus 'woe to the wicked! It will go badly with him, for what he deserves will be done to him.' (Isaiah 3:9-10) Prepare yourselves for His return is upon us, and woe to those who have stirred up His wrath! And 'woe to those who rise early in the morning that they may pursue strong drink, who stay up late in the evening that wine may inflame them!' (Isaiah 5:11) For their sins are not from the cup of the wine, but from the spirit of the wine, and its harm to man's mind. (Isaiah 5:22) For the mind of man, is the mind of Christ, and through Christ's mind we know the Truth. But through the blinding spirit of wine, the mind is subject to the deception of Satan, and through his deception the Truth is blotted out. So be sober minded, and on your mark, keep your lamps lit, for that day will come life a thief in the night.'Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness'. (Isaiah 5:20) For there are those who claim to do good (Bush, Cheney, al-Sadr, Ahmadinejad), and claim to be instruments of the Light, but perpetrate evil and are sons of the dark. And they claim to be 'wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!' (Isaiah 5:21) Yet the Lord sees and knows all their lies and deceit, and He solemnly promises 'as for these things which you are looking at, the days will come in which there will not be left one stone upon another which will not be torn down.' (Luke 21:6) Yet they continue to devise their evil plans, and yet the Lord sees all their wicked ways. For it is He who has created us and not we ourselves, and the Potter shall shatter the pots, and their judgment shall be great indeed. (Isaiah 29:15-16) |
