Seventeen - Oxygen

Oxygen is necessary for us to live and breath.  For oxygen is involved in the basic processes of life: photosynthesis and cellular respiration.  Thus oxygen is breath.  And the Spirit is breath for by His process we receive eternal Life.

Oxygen is a colorless chemical represented by the chemical symbol O. It is derived from the Greek root oxys for “sharp” and genesis for “beginning”. For the breath of the Spirit is a sharp sword, for “the sword of the Spirit, is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17) And the breath of the Spirit dwelt in man from the beginning, for “the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as He did upon us at the beginning”. (Acts11:15) And oxygen abounds throughout all of the earth. And the Spirit of God dwells throughout the whole earth, for it is the Spirit of the earth, for “your voice will also be like that of a spirit from the ground, and your speech will whisper from the dust.” (Isaiah 29:4)And oxygen enriches and strengthens our inner body. For the Spirit works through our inner body, “according to the riches of His glory,to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man.”(Ephesians 3:16) Oxygen is reactive and is integrated into most compounds. And as the time draws near, the Spirit shall pour out on all mankind, for “it will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind”. (Joel 2:28) But oxygen can also be toxic to anaerobic(oxygen-less) organisms. And the Spirit shall bring forth His justice,on those without His Spirit, for “I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.” (Isaiah 42:1)
